The Createx Colors candy2o Lemon Yellow 4653 is a water-based, 100% transparent aniline dye that is designed for use as an airbrush paint and mid-coat over metallic base. Its vibrant lemon yellow color is perfect for creating eye-catching designs and adding a pop of color to any project.
To achieve the best results, it is recommended to mix the candy2o Lemon Yellow with the 4050 UVLS Gloss Clear or the 4030 Balancing Clear. The 4050 UVLS Gloss is the preferred carrier for this product as it allows for a more even and heavier color coat, especially when applying with a spray-gun.
When using an airbrush, it is recommended to use any tip-size with 18-27 psi. Add 10% - 300% of either the 4050 or 4030 per volume, and then thin with the 4011 Reducer at a ratio of 5% - 20% per volume. For spray guns, use a 1.2 - 1.3mm tip size with 18-22 psi. Allow the candy2o mix to acclimate for 10+ minutes before spraying. Mix the 4050 at a 3:1 ratio with the candy2o, and then thin with the 4011 Reducer at a ratio of 5% - 10% per volume.
To prevent bleeding or leaching of the dyes into top-coated colors or clear, it is recommended to apply the 4040 Bleed Checker over the candy2o.
