Createx Colors candy2o: Red Oxide (4663)

The Createx Colors candy2o in Red Oxide (4663) is a water-based paint that offers 100% transparency with aniline dyes. Designed for use as airbrush paint and mid-coat over metallic bases, this paint provides stunning results and allows for creative expression in your artwork.

To achieve the desired concentration, simply add the recommended carrier. We suggest using the 4050 UVLS Gloss Clear or the 4030 Balancing Clear , both of which can be found on our website. These carriers offer a more even and heavier color coat, especially when applying with a spray gun.

When using an airbrush, you can use any tip-size between 18 and 27 psi. Add 10% to 300% of 4050 or 4030 per volume, and then thin the mixture with our 4011 Reducer. The reducer should be added at a ratio of 5% to 20% per volume.

If you prefer using a spray gun, we recommend using a 1.2 to 1.3mm tip-size at an air pressure of 18 to 22 psi. Allow the candy2o mix to acclimate for at least 10 minutes before spraying. Mix 4050 with a ratio of 3:1 with candy2o, and then thin the mixture further with 4011 Reducer at a ratio of 5% to 10% per volume.

For added protection and to prevent bleeding or leaching of the dyes into other top-coated colors or clear, we recommend applying the 4040 Bleed Checker over the candy2o.
