The Createx Colors candy2o in Deep Purple (4659) is a high-quality water-based paint that provides vibrant and transparent color for your airbrush projects. This paint is specially formulated with 100% transparent aniline dyes, ensuring a rich and intense color payoff. Perfect for use as an airbrush paint or as a mid-coat over a metallic base, the candy2o Deep Purple will add depth and dimension to your artwork.

To achieve the best results, we recommend using the 4050 UVLS Gloss Clear or the 4030 Balancing Clear as a carrier for the candy2o. These additives help to create a more even and heavier color coat, providing maximum impact. The 4050 UVLS Gloss Clear is especially recommended when applying with a spray gun, while the 4030 Balancing Clear is suitable for airbrushing.

When using an airbrush, you can mix the candy2o with the 4050 or 4030 at a ratio of 10% to 300% per volume. Then, thin the mixture with the 4011 Reducer at a ratio of 5% to 20% per volume. For spraying with a spray gun, you can use a tip size of 1.2 to 1.3mm with a pressure of 18 to 22 psi. Allow the candy2o mix to acclimate for 10 minutes before spraying. Mix the 4050 at a ratio of 3:1 with the candy2o, and then thin with the 4011 Reducer at a ratio of 5% to 10% per volume.

To prevent bleeding or leaching of the dyes into top-coated colors or clear, we recommend applying the 4040 Bleed Checker over the candy2o. This will help to maintain the integrity and clarity of your artwork.
