Createx Colors candy2o: Tequila Yellow (4652)

The Createx Colors candy2o in Tequila Yellow (4652) is a high-quality water-based paint perfect for airbrushing and as a mid-coat over metallic bases. This paint is made with 100% transparent aniline dyes, ensuring a vibrant and true-to-color result.

To achieve the best results, we recommend using the 4050 UVLS Gloss Clear or the 4030 Balancing Clear as the carrier for candy2o. The 4050 UVLS Gloss Clear is especially recommended when applying with a spray-gun, as it allows for a more even and heavier color coat. For airbrushing, any tip-size can be used at 18 – 27 psi, and candy2o should be mixed with 4050 or 4030 at a ratio of 10% - 300% per volume. Then, thin the mixture with the 4011 Reducer at a ratio of 5% - 20% per volume.

For spray guns with a tip-size of 1.2 – 1.3mm, operating at 18 – 22 psi, it is recommended to allow the candy2o mix to acclimate for at least 10 minutes before spraying. The mixture should be 3 parts 4050 or 4030 to 1 part candy2o, and then thinned with the 4011 Reducer at a ratio of 5% - 10% per volume.

To prevent bleeding or leaching of the dyes into top-coated colors or clear, applying the 4040 Bleed Checker over the candy2o is essential.
