Createx Colors candy2o: Ultra Violet (4658)

The Createx Colors candy2o in Ultra Violet (4658) is a water-based paint that is perfect for airbrushing and as a mid-coat over metallic bases. This paint is made with 100% transparent aniline dyes, giving you a vibrant and eye-catching color.

To achieve the desired effect, you can mix the candy2o with either the 4050 UVLS Gloss Clear or the 4030 Balancing Clear. However, the 4050 UVLS Gloss is recommended as it allows for a more even and heavier color coat. This is especially beneficial when applying with a spray-gun. If you prefer using an airbrush, any tip-size between 18 and 27 psi would be suitable. You can add 4050 or 4030 to the candy2o at a ratio of 10% to 300% per volume, and then thin it with the 4011 Reducer at a ratio of 5% to 20% per volume.

When using a spray gun with a tip size of 1.2 to 1.3 mm and a pressure of 18 to 22 psi, it is recommended to allow the candy2o mix to acclimate for 10 or more minutes before spraying. Mix the 4050 at a ratio of 3 parts to 1 part of candy2o, and then thin it with the 4011 Reducer at a ratio of 5% to 10% per volume.

To prevent bleeding or leaching of the dyes into top-coated colors or clear, it is advised to apply the 4040 Bleed Checker over the candy2o.
